HALESTORM

It was almost a decade ago that Black Velvet first started videoing our interviews. Despite being a printed zine since 1994, it wasn't until 2011 that we actually picked up a video camera. Some of our earliest video interviews featured Halestorm, a band we fell in love with the moment we heard them. In 2012, they headlined the UK in support of 'The Strange Case Of...'. Before their show in Birmingham, we caught up with Frontwoman Lzzy Hale. Inspired by their song 'Rock Show', we decided to make it a 'rock show' themed interview. Take a look back as we ask about the progression of rock shows, singing with Amy Lee, creating awareness at rock shows, and the cost of being front row at a rock show.
