 'HOW'S IT GOIN''

Bryan Adams announces 'How’s It Goin’', his new studio album and a deeply personal musical love letter to Canada, arriving November 6th, 2026, via BAD Records.
 
Rooted in the people, places, landscapes and stories that have shaped his home country, 'How’s It Goin’' sees Adams turn his unmistakable songwriting and voice towards home. Drawing on country, folk and rock, the album explores a distinctly Canadian musical landscape - at once expansive and intimate, cinematic and personal.
 
For Adams, the album began with a single song inspired by Canada’s east coast and grew into something much bigger: a collection of stories about the country he has called home throughout his life.
 
“The idea was simply to make a record about Canada,” says Adams. “It started with writing the song for the documentary Canada’s Wild Eastern Edge and after doing so much research, I was inspired to start writing more songs about Canada. Musically, it took me somewhere a little different too, which made the whole thing exciting.”
 
That sense of discovery runs throughout 'How’s It Goin’'. From landscapes and history to extraordinary characters and moments in the Canadian story, Adams finds inspiration in the familiar and the unexpected, creating an album that celebrates the country through his own distinctly personal lens.
 
Among the album’s 12 songs are ‘Diesel and Dirt’, ‘How’s It Goin’, ‘Iron Ribbon’, ‘The Battle of Lundy’s Lane’, ‘51st State’ and ‘The Ballad of Terry Fox’, the latter one of the most poignant moments on the album, and Adams’ tribute to one of Canada’s most inspirational figures. The song will also feature in the forthcoming documentary film about Terry Fox, Run Terry Run.
 
At its heart, 'How’s It Goin’' is about home: the vast landscapes, the characters, the history, the humour, the resilience and the stories that make Canada what it is. It is Adams looking back at the country that shaped him while discovering new ways to tell its stories.
 
The album will be released across CD and LP, with the LP housed in a gatefold sleeve with printed inner sleeves, obi and shrink wrap. A special A4 hardback book edition will also be available, featuring the album on CD, song lyrics and images connected to the stories and subjects explored across the record.

  MALLORY KNOX RETURN WITH 'AFTERGLOW'

  FEATURING ORIGINAL VOCALIST MIKEY CHAPMAN

British alt-rock icons Mallory Knox have released 'Afterglow', their new single featuring original frontman Mikey Chapman. Marking their first studio release since original lead vocalist Mikey Chapman rejoined the band, ‘Afterglow’ serves as the opening statement for a forthcoming collection of new material written and recorded over the past year. 

The band is now comprised of Chapman alongside core members James Gillett and Dave Rawling. 'Afterglow' carries deep personal significance for the band, tracing back to the very moment they decided to reunite.

"Afterglow is the very first song Dave, James and I jammed out after deciding to write again as a band," shares lead vocalist Mikey. "The song reflects the anticipation, excitement and hope we found in those initial moments as we brought the band back to life. Lyrically, I wanted to embody the mantra that I had been telling myself for some time at that point - that there is life yet to be lived if only you are willing to try. I hope that many will find their own inspiration and hope within the song too."

‘Afterglow’ encapsulates the raw energy, renewed vigour, and artistic synergy that defined Mallory Knox’s initial rise, while signalling a clear, ambitious path forward.

  BAD WOLVES RETURN WITH 'PAINT IT RED'

  & NEW SINGER KILLBOY (SARA SKINNER)

Bad Wolves have released a new single and video, 'Paint It Red'. The song sees Killboy (Sara Skinner) debuting as the band's new vocalist. Band founder, drummer, and songwriter John Boecklin commented, "When we started looking for the next voice of Bad Wolves, we weren't looking for someone to fill a spot; we were looking for someone who could help push this band into its next chapter. The first time I heard Sara sing, I knew she was different. She has an incredible voice, undeniable presence, and the kind of versatility that allows us to take our songwriting to places we've never gone before. Beyond the talent, she's brought a renewed energy and excitement into this band. Sara isn't here to recreate the past, she's here to help us build the future. We couldn't be more excited to welcome her to the Bad Wolves family and for everyone to hear what we've been working on together."

Propelled by pummeling drums and a head-nodding groove, the track fuses Killboy's dynamic delivery to an airtight polyrhythmic riff. Once again, the track illustrates the group's uncanny ability to marry skyscraper-size melodies and intricately crushing instrumentation. Baptized in crimson, the chorus culminates on an ominous, yet entrancing chant, "And watch the blood flow down like a river from my mouth…'Cause they won't miss you when you're dead, so paint it red."
