espite what many would like you to believe, rock ‘n’ roll is very much alive in
D2026. Sure, it may have evolved, certainly in a business sense, but the music,
the musicians and the fans are there and remain just as passionate and strong as
ever. And, while the world and everything in it, including rock music, does change
shape, there are many elements which remain traditional to their roots. Enter, from
the West Midlands, Jayler. The UK's latest next bright hope for the future, even if
one foot of their music remains very much embedded in the past. And there is cer-
tainly plenty of future available to them, all four being teenagers when their debut
EP came into the world in December 2023 and, now in their very early 20s, they
have stepped things up with their debut full-length album, 'Voices Unheard'. And you
won't need to listen for long to realise that these are voices that cannot be silenced
any longer and deserve listening to.
